Atlantic Thermal Products, Inc. opened for business January 1st, 1993 as Hamitherm, Inc. Hamitherm, Inc., was to be the US-based "daughter" company of Hamitherm BV, whose headquarters are located in The Netherlands. Our goal from inception was to offer the temperature sensing industry (both in Europe and the US) more refined and higher quality thermal products with numerous improvements that did not exist at the time. This strategy paid off for Hamitherm BV, as the Dutch company has become one of the world's leaders in sales of thermocouple connectors and supportive ancillary products. This success spilled over to HamiTherm, Inc. in the States as well. We proudly sell thermal sensing components in Severna Park, MD.
Going forward, Hamitherm, Inc. (T/A HamiThermUSA, Inc.) will shed the title "daughter" company and take on the role of a standalone distributor of these world-class thermal products. This will grant us the opportunity to offer a wider range of products targeted at the temperature sensing industry.
Therefore, a decision has been made to rebrand and create a new company entitled "Atlantic Thermal Products, Inc." Our mission, goals, and values will not be different — only our name will change.
